It was very nice here - despite stupid weather and despite Corona!

Best location on the Steinhuder Meer, directly at the jetty not far from the hotel car park. The prices are adjusted to the situation, but not excessive. We hadn't made a reservation and still managed to get a seat right by the window. The service was very friendly and quick. Will definitely come again.

Great restaurant. Very tasty food and friendly, well-trained service staff. The location with the view of the water is unique and the hall offers enough space for celebrations of all kinds.

I also had the rump steak, unfortunately I had to give it back because it was cold. After that it was unfortunately not better. Not recommendable. The fish from our friends was good. The service couldn't handle our complaint well. It's a shame ... Unfortunately, the customer wasn't king.

Very nice staff, very good food and reasonable prices! The public parking spaces in front of the house are usually just barely free. Very pretty / idyllic location. We have been here several times for small visits / side trips and were never disappointed. We recently had a small family celebration and we are definitely happy to recommend the beach terraces with a clear conscience! ;-)

I ordered a rump steak with salad and fries. Had to give the steak back, it was cold and got it back cold. Not recommended to eat here. Too expensive for the quality.

Nice location on the south bank of the lake with a fantastic view of the lake from the terrace. Friendly service, good food at slightly higher prices due to the location. Clear recommendation

Phenomenal location, just above the boat dock. The quality of the food ranges from ok to good, that of the staff in the service from almost underground unfriendly to magical. Very good beer recommendation: the relatively local Rupp Bräu.

Wedding despite Corona We celebrated our wedding on the beach terraces at the end of August 2020. WE ARE JUST LOVED! Apart from the fantastic location, the wonderful winter garden with open side walls and the simply indescribable view over the Steinhuder Meer all evening long, everything else was also great. At the beginning of the wedding planning we met with the managing director Thomas Lampe. Our conversations were always very relaxed, fun, but still very helpful. We have included many tips, ideas and information about the wedding in our planning. You always have to note that such a location celebrates weddings every weekend, you (hopefully) only once in your life. Whenever help was needed, we got it (it's best to just call the beach terraces, then it's quickest). Even with extra requests regarding the food, Mr. Lampe was very accommodating. If you consider the price-performance ratio, you can only say it's great! All drinks that the beach terraces have on the menu in normal restaurant operations are included (apart from lavish cocktails). Everything went as planned on the day of the celebration. A super delicious meal and very courteous staff, world class !, contributed to an unforgettable evening. The only drawback is that there is a time limit at night, which is understandable due to the breakfast service for guests of the Steinhuder Meer. Our conclusion: Those who don't celebrate their wedding here are stupid!

Food was good, nice furniture - but a bit carelessly distributed due to the corona. It is certainly nicer outside, but unfortunately it rained. The view is definitely great!

Sitting outside right on the promenade is very nice. Fish and schnitzel are also good. Unfortunately the asparagus was woody and didn't taste good, and the portions are very small. Really no recommendation for the high prices. On the hygiene measures: Disinfectable menus are advertised, but these are not disinfected.

Nice restaurant with a beautiful view. While my side dishes made from fried potatoes and spinach were very tasty, the fish disappointed me very much. No taste of its own, hardly seasoned, ... a shame ... At least with us no wiping the table and the menus came straight from the next table without cleaning ...

Delicious seasonal cuisine that is not only a pleasure for fish lovers. The drinks menu invites you to taste regional beers. The service is very attentive and friendly. Depending on the seat, you have a wonderful view of the Steinhuder Meer both inside and outside. Another visit has already been reserved for us.

Unlike other restaurateurs in the village, we were welcomed in a friendly manner and, despite the empty tables, were not left at the entrance. The ambience is modern and very nice service. Food and drinks came quickly. We were put off by the "high" prices. In fact, it is the case that you get twice the portion as elsewhere. For a reduced price, you can also order only a 1/2 portion which is completely sufficient. One must not forget that this is a tourist region. It is always a little more expensive. We found the price / performance ratio great.

Nice view, service is ok. However please be informed that wearing your mask solely over your mouth and not covering your nose is inefficient.

The restaurant has a great location overlooking the Steinhuder Meer. The service was very accomodating and fast. We had a seafood plate but unfortunately the food was not properly seasoned.

great place, can get very very busy when its sunny, but still worth it, food is really good, staff are friendly, beautiful views if you get the right tables at the right times

The food was good. The bruschetta was too cold, but the criticism was received positively. The service was very friendly. The prices are reasonable. The location is spacious but comfortable. For us again at any time.
